Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer x2 Contract

Contract: Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (extendable to end of 2024)
Rate: £550-575 a day (Deemed Inside IR35 determination)
Location: Remote (may need to attend a few meeting in the UK on initial start up)

Exciting contract project for 2 Senior DevOps Engineers to work on a new project. The DevOps Engineers will have a strong background working within a cloud environment to join an enterprise financial services client project.
You will play a crucial role in providing technical solutions for our clients move from OnPrem to cloud program.
1 x Engineer with in-depth networking background / 1 x Engineer with RedHat Open Shift Background
Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation and testing and support of infrastructure solutions
• Delivery using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and GitOps methods and processes
• Continuous research and adoption of cloud vendor enhancements and solutions
• Upholding and updating technical standards
• Delivering and receiving technical mentoring and training within a cross-functional team
• Collaboration within an ecosystem of agile teams using Scrum and Kanban
• Automate infrastructure delivery using IAC and DevOps toolsets
• Act as an SME for the DevOps Cloud team

Required Skills

• 5+ Years’ experience working as a DevOps Engineer within an enterprise environment.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in public cloud – AWS
• Background working in Network engineering or architect position. Strong knowledge of key networking components
• RedHat Openshift
• Onprem
• Transit gateways, cloud routing knowledge.
• Kubernetes / Docker
• CI / CD
• Anisble
• Terraform
• Git / Gitbucket
• Programming experience in either Python / Shell / Go / Ruby / Perl
